try not using 192.168.1.245 try using a ip address like 192.168.1.102 or .103 my router issue 192.168.1.102 to my acces point (wap4410n) and i did not know that so after a half day trying to get to the access point to set it up i look at every computer in the house wrote down ip addresses and 192.168.1.100 and .101 was used .102 was not used so i tryed that and it worked.

Hi, I have a new WAP4410N AP. It claims to have the default IP address of 192.168.1.245 but i can't get any life out of that. I can't ping it or access the web interface that runs off it. I'm on the same network and can access other things on there.
